A former United States government continuity facility located near White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. This classified bunker was constructed in the 1950s beneath the Greenbrier resort as part of Project Greek Island, designed to house the United States Congress in the event of a nuclear attack. The facility remained secret for over three decades until its exposure by The Washington Post in 1992, after which it was decommissioned.
