A former United States government continuity facility located beneath the Greenbrier hotel in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Originally constructed in the 1950s during the Cold War, the bunker was designed to house members of Congress in the event of a nuclear attack. The facility remained a closely guarded secret for over three decades until its existence was revealed by The Washington Post in 1992, after which it was decommissioned and later opened for public tours.
