Batterie Nieder-Sartowitz was a coastal artillery battery located near the town of Sartowice in northern Poland. Built in 1902, the battery featured six 100 mm guns and was part of the German Empire's coastal defense system along the Baltic Sea. The site was strategically positioned to protect the approaches to the Vistula Lagoon and the nearby port of Danzig (now Gdańsk). During World War II, the battery was modernized and integrated into the German military's defensive network in occupied Poland. Today, the remains of the battery serve as a historical monument, reflecting the region's military heritage and the evolution of coastal fortifications in the early 20th century.
