The Savoy Royal Bunker is a World War II-era air-raid shelter located in Villa Ada park, Rome, Italy. Constructed between November 1940 and June 1943, this underground facility was designed exclusively to protect the Italian royal family, the House of Savoy, during potential bombing raids. The bunker spans over 200 square meters and features a circular plan with seven rooms, including two main chambers, two bathrooms, an antechamber, and two service rooms. After more than five years of closure, the historic structure has reopened to the public for guided tours, offering visitors a glimpse into Italy's wartime history and royal heritage.
