The Greenbrier Bunker is a Cold War-era military facility located near White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, United States. Constructed in the early 1960s, it was designed to serve as a government relocation site and emergency command center during a nuclear conflict. The bunker was built beneath the Greenbrier resort, a luxury hotel frequented by U.S. government officials, and remained classified until its existence was publicly revealed in 1992. Its existence was confirmed through declassified documents and historical records preserved by the National Archives.
