Bunker near Harboøre

A World War II German military bunker located on Denmark's North Sea coast near Harboøre. This concrete fortification is part of the extensive defensive network constructed by the Wehrmacht following the German occupation of Denmark in 1940. The bunker stands as a remnant of the Atlantic Wall system, which included approximately 7,000 bunkers built along Denmark's coastline, of which around 6,000 still exist today. These fortifications were part of Nazi Germany's coastal defense strategy during World War II, designed to protect against potential Allied invasion attempts along the European coastline.
