Description

The Führerbunker was an air raid shelter located near the Reich Chancellery in Berlin, Germany. It was part of a subterranean bunker complex constructed in two phases, in 1936 and 1944. The complex served as the last command post for Adolf Hitler, where he spent his final days in 1945 before his suicide. The site is historically significant as the physical center of Nazi Germany's collapse. After the war, the bunker was largely destroyed and the area was later redeveloped, with the exact location now marked by a small information plaque.
