In mid-1940, the Germans built a so-called Jägerleitstelle Schneeglöckchen on the Molenweg in Schagen, which served as a radio arrow station. The building that is still present today was the Auswertung gebäude where the data was processed. There were several Y-pillars around this building. Through these pillars it was possible to maintain contact with the Luftwaffe. The position belonged to Radio Dienststelle de Kooy, which was located in Den Helder. Yet the command was conducted from Bergen.
