Pillbox (type Fw3/23)

09/1997 Type 23 pillbox, variant. This pillbox has only one embrasure, which faces N. It measures 3m x 2. 6m with the embrasure on the shorter side. Entry is via the roof but is not possible now due to burial by sand. There is evidence for the embrasure having a bulbous front but this has since broken away, otherwise the pillbox would seem in a good state of repair.
