A military bunker located near Bergen, Norway, situated in a commanding position above the Skagerrak Straits between Norway and Denmark. This historic fortification was originally constructed during World War II by German forces as part of their defensive network along the Norwegian coast. The site once housed the second largest cannon in the world—a massive Krupp 380mm artillery piece with an impressive range of up to 55 kilometers (35 miles) and weighing 337 tonnes. The bunker complex represents Norway's strategic military importance during both World War II and the subsequent Cold War period, when tensions with the Soviet Union led to the construction of additional defensive structures throughout the country.
