Bunker near Hirtshals

A military bunker located near Hirtshals, Denmark, in the northern part of Jutland. This structure is part of the extensive network of fortifications built along the Danish coastline during World War II as part of Hitler's Atlantic Wall. The Atlantic Wall stretched from the Spanish-French border to the northern tip of Norway, with Denmark hosting approximately 6,000 bunkers along its shores. These fortifications were constructed by German occupation forces between 1940 and 1945, representing the largest construction project in Danish history.
