Description

A Second World War bunker complex located near Helfaut, in the Pas-de-Calais department of northern France. Originally codenamed Bauvorhaben 21 or Schotterwerk Nordwest, the site was constructed by Nazi German forces with the intention of launching up to 50 V2 rockets at London each day. The massive concrete structure, also known as the Coupole d'Helfaut-Wizernes, stands about 5 kilometres from Saint-Omer and 14.4 kilometers south-southeast of the Blockhaus d'Éperlecques.
