Movik Fort Bunker

Movik Fort is a historic military bunker complex located near Vågstranda in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Originally constructed by German forces during World War II, the fort once housed the second largest cannon in the world - a massive Krupp 380mm artillery piece with a range of up to 55 kilometers. The bunker sits in a commanding position above the Skagerrak Straits, strategically positioned between Norway and Denmark. During the Cold War era, Norway's proximity to the Soviet Union led to the development of numerous military bunkers throughout the country, with some serving as vast secret bases.
