A military bunker located near Narvik, Norway, situated in a strategic position above the Skagerrak Straits. This bunker was originally constructed during World War II by German forces as part of their defensive fortifications along the Norwegian coast. The site once housed the second largest cannon in the world - a massive Krupp 380mm artillery piece with a range of up to 55 kilometers and weighing 337 tonnes. After the war, the bunker was reportedly converted into a primitive civilian bomb shelter, with modifications including a walled-up second exit and a mounted front door. The area around Narvik contains numerous military installations from different eras, including air defense stations and ammunition bunkers that formed part of Norway's Cold War-era defensive network.
