Description

A Cold War-era military bunker located in western Poland, part of the Soviet strategic infrastructure during the occupation period. The site was one of several clandestine installations that housed nuclear warheads as part of the Soviet military presence in Poland from the 1960s until the early 1990s. These bunkers were kept secret from the Polish population and formed part of the Warsaw Pact's nuclear deterrent capability in Central Europe.
