A former German World War II coastal artillery fortress located near the Skagerrak Straits in southern Norway. The site once housed a massive Krupp 380mm cannon, one of the largest artillery pieces of the war, with a range of up to 55 kilometers. Originally constructed by German forces during the occupation of Norway, the fort occupied a strategic position overlooking the maritime approaches between Norway and Denmark.
