Description

A military bunker located in northern Italy, part of the Alpine Wall (Vallo Alpino) defensive system built under Benito Mussolini's direction before and during World War II. The Alpine Wall stretched along Italy's 1,851 km northern frontier facing France, Switzerland, Austria, and Yugoslavia, and was defended by the Guardia alla Frontiera (Ga F) special troops. This structure represents one of the many fortifications constructed as part of Italy's strategic defensive preparations during the wartime period.
