The Refugi Antiaeri de Cal Granota is a civil defense air raid shelter located in Martorell, Catalonia, Spain. Built during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), this underground refuge was constructed within the abandoned Can Cardellach mine, taking advantage of existing mining infrastructure to provide protection for local residents from aerial bombardment. The shelter was part of a broader network of civil defense structures created by the Generalitat de Catalunya's 'Junta de Defensa Passiva' in response to intense bombing campaigns targeting Barcelona and other Catalan cities during the conflict.
