A military bunker located near the site of the Slovak National Uprising of 1944. The Slovak National Uprising was a major armed insurrection against the collaborationist Slovak State, organized by the Slovak resistance movement during World War II. The uprising began on August 29, 1944, in Banská Bystrica, with the goal of overthrowing the pro-Nazi government and expelling German forces from Slovakia.
