REGAN Vest Bunker

A top-secret atomic bunker located near Hanstholm, Denmark, built during the Cold War to withstand a nuclear attack. This nuclear attack-proof fortress was part of Denmark's military infrastructure for 24-hour surveillance of Danish air and sea traffic, monitoring Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact activities as part of NATO operations. The bunker has been transformed into a subterranean museum that provides insight into Cold War-era military preparedness and the paranoia of the nuclear age.
