Description

The Blockhaus d'Éperlecques, also known as the Watten bunker, is a massive Second World War bunker located near Saint-Omer in the Pas-de-Calais département of northern France. Built by Nazi Germany during the occupation of France, this concrete structure was intended as a launch facility for V-2 rockets targeting Britain. The site is now preserved as a museum and is situated approximately 14.4 kilometers from the La Coupole V-2 facility in the same region.
