A military bunker located in western Belarus near the city of Grodno. The region around Grodno has a long military history, having been part of various Eastern European states including the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. During the 20th century, Belarus was occupied by Nazi Germany during World War II and later became part of the Soviet Union, leading to the construction of numerous military fortifications across the country.
This bunker represents part of Belarus's extensive network of defensive structures from the mid-20th century.
