By: tallturtle82. Read more... The Bohemian Club is a private/exclusive/mysterious gentlemen's club located in San Francisco. The Club owns a 2,700 acre campground called the Bohemian Grove. The Grove hosts a three weekend camp for the members and guests.
This is an artificial lake in the middle of the Bohemia Grove used for concerts and the ceremony "Cremation of Care". The ceremony represents the banishing of cares by burning an effigy in front of the Owl Shrine. The Owl Shrine is a 40 foot statue, which is also the symbol of the Bohemian Club.
